AIBS provides tailored governance and management training to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and can provide ongoing mentoring and support to assist with consolidation of knowledge and skills.
We have extensive experience in this field and have worked with a number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Boards to develop training that meets identified needs.
Our aim is to lessen the administrative burden placed on organisations by funding bodies, by developing and implementing processes that work well.
Our Governance and Management training is based on the process used by the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations. Therefore the training is recognised by government funding agencies as an important and necessary component in establishing sound business practices within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities.
